Buck Stapleton began his real estate career in Glendale, in 1979 as a commercial agent. He is a graduate of Los Angeles City College, U.C.L.A., and Cal State University L.A. Buck is a college professor and author of a best selling book, California Real Estate Principles, Dearborn Publishing, used by more than 70 colleges and private propriety schools. Buck has written numerous articles and brochures for REALTORS® and the general public and is an original C.A.R. Fair Housing instructor. In 1994 he was appointed by the Real Estate Commissioner to help write new Broker and Salesperson exam questions.
He holds the designation of GRI and became a residential sales agent in 1986. Buck has been a consistent member of the multi-million dollar and top sales club in real estate and has ranked in the top 1% of all salespeople in one of the largest real estate organizations in the world. He is a graduate of Floyd Wickman's Sweathogs and is the recipient of the Master Sales Academy's 5 Million/50 Transactions Award. Buck is a former broker-owner of a major franchise and as a manager supervised an office with over 125 associates. Active in his local Association, Buck is Chair of the International Committee for the West San Gabriel Association of REALTORS(R) and has served as Chair of the Education Committee and Professional Standards, Grievance and Orientation Committees. He was elected as an officer and director of the Chinese American Real Estate Professionals Association and has made numerous trips to the People's Republic of China.
