The GRI program has just completed
its College Accreditation Report.
We are pleased to announce that the
college credits for Real Estate Practice and Legal Aspects of Real Estate
remain in full force and effect. While many institutions that award or
offer college allow walk-in students, the GRI college equivalent program
is for CAR/NAR members only.
Accreditation Standards require that institutions
that award or grant credit conduct a self study every six years. In addition,
NAR conducts an accreditation review every two years. NAR standards require
that credit for the GRI designation be consistent with institutional policies
that reflect generally accepted norms in education as determined by NAR.
The California GRI program passed the NAR accreditation last year.
