| John V. Giardinelli received his undergraduate degree from the University of California , Irvine in 1974 and his Juris Doctor from Western State University in July 1977, graduating with honors. He was admitted to the California State Bar in December, 1977. In 1984, he moved his law practice from Orange County and opened a firm with a focus on real estate and business law in Canyon Lake, located in Southwest Riverside County, California. Today, Mr. Giardinelli is a principal in the law firm of The Giardinelli Law Group, APC. The firm’s practice consists primarily of real estate related matters, including land use, litigation, and non-litigation cases, construction defect litigation, contract matters, corporate and business law, including partnerships, limited liability companies, corporate upkeep, business formations, and the management side employment law. Mr. Giardinelli has extensive background in the formation of real estate and business transactional documents, as well as litigation of real estate related matters. Mr. Giardinelli represents several Associations of REALTORS® with membership in excess of 30,000 and administers the professional standards for several of those Associations. He is an experienced trial attorney, has handled arbitrations and mediations, and has been an arbitrator on appointment. He writes for several association newsletters on the current legal issues of interest to real estate professionals and is a frequent speaker at seminars and brown bag lunches. He has also taught a real estate class at a state university. In addition to his law practice and teaching duties, Mr. Giardinelli has served as city council member, mayor, a member of the Western Riverside Council of Governments (including a year as its chair), and as a trustee for several private schools and college foundations.
